KENT, Ohio – The Kent State men's and women's indoor track and field teams will compete for the conference crown, hosting the 2019 Indoor Track and Field Mid-American Conference Championships at the Kent State Field House Friday and Saturday, Feb. 22-23. Kent State last hosted the conference meet in 2014.
Action begins Friday at 10:45 a.m. with the 60-meter dash for the men's heptathlon, and the women's pentathlon will begin with the 60-meter hurdles at 11 a.m. Field events are also scheduled to start at 11 a.m. with the women's weight throw. Qualifiers for sprints and hurdles are on the slate for Friday afternoon, as well as the finals for the 5,000-meter run and distance medley relay.
