BLOOMINGTON, IN-The Golden Flashes dropped a nail biter on Tuesday night, falling 4-3 to the Indiana Hoosiers on Tuesday night at Kaufman Field.
The Hoosiers scored single tallies in four innings on Tuesday night and that proved to be enough against the Flashes. Indiana scored in each of the first two innings against Benny Roebuck, who took the tough luck loss. After loading the bases with nobody out in the first, the righty was able to hold the Hoosiers to one in the first.
Kent State tied it in the second. It was the Flashes' turn to load the bases with nobody out and tied the game on a run-scoring groundout from Mack Timbrook.
