AUBURN, Ala. - On Thursday, four members of the Kent State gymnastics team competed in the 2022 NCAA Women's Gymnastics Regional at Auburn University. Junior Karlie Franz and freshman Alyssa Guns each competed on floor, sophomore Sarah Haxton on bars, and junior Rachel DeCavitch on all four events.
Haxton excelled in her final performance of the season, posting a bars score of 9.900, tying her personal record. The four Golden Flashes competed as individuals during the first session of the day on Thursday, and Haxton finished fourth on bars out of 27 total participants in that session.
