KENT, Ohio – In a battle between two teams tied for third place in the Mid-American Conference standings, the Kent State soccer team took down Bowling Green 1-0 at Zoeller Field at Dix Stadium on Thursday night.
The Golden Flashes (4-6-4, 4-1-2 MAC) extend their unbeaten streak to four games and snap a seven-game slid against the Falcons with the win, while Bowling Green (5-5-3, 3-2-2 MAC) loses after a pair of 4-0 wins last week.
After a scoreless first half, redshirt senior Tianna Harris was able to give the Flashes the lead.
