KENT, Ohio – The Kent State gymnastics team will host its Pink Meet to support the fight against breast cancer in the M.A.C. Center against Western Michigan on Friday, March 1 at 7 p.m.
Kent State gymnastics works with former Golden Flash gymnast, Kristine Slam, with all proceeds donated to the Central Ohio Surgical Association (COSA) and its COSACARES fund. Slam founded and runs COSACARES, which is a grant that focuses on men and women who are or have been affected by breast cancer. It also helps the families with everyday life situations, such as buying groceries or taking children to school.
