KENT, Ohio – The Kent State women's basketball team led wire-to-wire in Sunday's exhibition game, a 77-48 victory over Slippery Rock at the M.A.C. Center.
Freshman Asiah Dingle stuffed the stat sheet for the Golden Flashes. Dingle poured in a game-high 21 points on 6-for-7 shooting from the floor to go with six rebounds, four steals, two assists and a blocked shot. Junior Ali Poole also displayed her versatility, posting 14 points, 14 rebounds, three assists, two steals and two blocks. Redshirt junior Megan Carter joined them in double-figures with 10 points.
