Charlotte, N.C. –The Kent State University baseball team earned its fourth win of the season, topping Charlotte (6-5), 5-3 in the series finale at Hayes Stadium Saturday afternoon. Senior Pavin Parks knocked his first home run of the season, a three-run shot in the top of the fifth that secured the victory.
"As a team, I think that was the best win of the year," head coach Jeff Duncan said, "We played great baseball today. Our two-strike approach was really good - the best we've had all year – and we came up with timely hits.
