KENT – The Kent State Men's Basketball team defeated the Red Wolves of Arkansas State University on Saturday afternoon by a final score of 76-75. Jalen Sullinger led the Flashes with 27 points, while Jamal Sumlin and Marquis Barnett were perfect from the free throw line playing a clutch role down the stretch.
The first half was a tale of streaks as Arkansas State kept their pace with Kent State's hot start. Sullinger and Delrecco Gillespie led the charge for the Flashes both scoring double-digits in the opening 20 minutes.
