TOLEDO, Ohio – The Kent State football team (3-6, 2-3 MAC) opened its midweek #MACtion slate with a 35-33 loss at the hands of Toledo (6-3, 3-2 MAC) on Tuesday night.
The Golden Flashes started slow against the Rockets but picked it up late in the first quarter with a 26-yard field goal by Matthew Trickett followed by a lightning strike from Dustin Crum to Mike Carrigan on a 70-yard touchdown.
Toledo's Bryant Koback scored his second touchdown of the first half to give the Rockets a 21-10 lead.
