The Kent State men's golf recorded their second consecutive 9th place performance in the past week, this time at the Hootie at the Bulls Bay Intercollegiate.
Leading the way for KSU once again was Chris Vandette, tying for 19th among the 81 golfer field to finish at even par. The fifth year star has earned himself MAC golfer of the week honors for his past two performances, as today's result gives him three straight top 20 finishes.
Right behind Vandette was Jordan Gilkison tying for 25th, wrapping up at one over par. Gilkison has now finished in the top 30 in seven of eight tournaments this season.
