KENT, Ohio – The Kent State lacrosse team (1-10) rang the victory bell on Friday as it earned its first win in program history and first win at Dix Stadium with a 21-6 victory over Delaware State (1-5).
Eight Golden Flashes scored in the game as Brianne Tierney secured her first win at Kent State and her first win as a Division-I head coach.
"This win is our first ever and well-earned by a young but tenacious group," said Tierney. "I am thrilled that they had the first of many under their belts, and I look forward to building on this success.
