STATE COLLEGE, Pa. – The Kent State men's and women's cross country teams competed in the final regular season meet of the season on Friday at the Penn State National Open.
On the men's side, the Golden Flashes placed 11 in the 14-team 5.2-mile race with 294 points. Sophomore Clark Bookman (26:23) was the team's top competitor and finished 41st. Freshman Grzegorz Kunc (26:25) was right behind and finished 45th. Redshirt sophomore Sam Goodman (26:53/71st), junior Brandon Avers (27:07/84th) and senior Nick Schank (27:10/90th) also placed in the top-100 for the Flashes.
