KENT, Ohio – Samory Fraga broke his own Kent State record in the long jump and the Kent State track and field program had several individuals post career-best marks at the Doug Raymond National Qualifier on Saturday afternoon inside the Kent State Field House.
In the long jump, Fraga grabbed the victory, reaching a mark of 25'-05.25," breaking his own Kent State indoor record from last year (25'-04.50"). According to TFRRS, his mark currently ranks 20th nationally and third in the Mid-American Conference.
The Golden Flashes won six additional events on the day and added 16 top-5 finishes on the day.
