MOUNT PLEASANT, Mich. — Kent State put away host Central Michigan with an 18-2 run to start the fourth quarter and left McGuirk Arena with a 77-54 victory Saturday afternoon.
The Golden Flashes (15-7, 10-2 MAC) scored a season-high 46 points in the paint and had four players reach double-figures. Junior Jenna Batsch finished with a game-high 17 points while playing a season-low 20 minutes. Graduate student Mikala Morris scored 16 points, while redshirt senior Katie Shumate and freshman Jane Tyler added 12 each.
