STILLWATER, OK- Corynne Hauser hit a go-ahead lay-up with under five seconds to play helping Kent State to a 59-56 win over the Oklahoma State Cowgirls on Sunday afternoon inside the Historic Gallagher-Iba Arena.
The Flashes went on a 6-0 run in the final 30 seconds and outscored Oklahoma State 19-12 in the fourth quarter to help secure the victory. Katie Shumate scored four of the final six, had nine in the final frame and finished with a game-high 23 points. It is the first true road win for the Golden Flashes over a power-5 school since a 2004 victory at Syracuse.
