KENT-Mike McNamara had a four-hit day including a two-run homer and Kyle Jackson added a two-run shot as well as the Golden Flashes flew the flag with a 5-2 victory over the Pitt Panthers on Tuesday night at Schoonover Stadium.
Benny Roebuck went the first four innings on Tuesday and was one of five pitchers who held the Panthers to two runs on six hits. Mitchell Scott got the final four outs, all by strikeout, to earn his MAC-leading sixth save of the season.
McNamara ended the top of the first inning with a leaping grab that saved a least one run, then gave the Flashes the lead in the second with a line-drive, two-run homer to left.
