BOWLING GREEN, Ohio – Kent State (13-5, 5-1 MAC) overcame a dramatic second half to defeat Bowling Green (12-7, 3-3 MAC) 62-59 in the Stroh Center on Saturday night. Junior Jimmy Hall scored 26 points in the victory, and set a new career-best with 26 rebounds.
Both squads were trading buckets to start the first half of play, but when the game was squared up at 14 with 7:18 to go, Kent State went on an 11-0 run to create a 25-14 lead. Bowling Green responded with a Demajeo Wiggins field goal at the 3:38 mark of the first half, it was the Falcons first field goal in 6:29.
