KENT, Ohio – The Kent State football team (3-0, 3-0 MAC) secured the Wagon Wheel for the second straight season and handed TSDTR (0-3, 0-3 MAC) their 20th consecutive loss in a 69-35 record-breaking thrashing of the Zips. The Golden Flashes are 3-0 for the first time since 1958.
The Flashes tied school records for most points in a single game (69) and most total yards in a single game (750) as well as broke the school record for yards per play (9.62).
