Kent State (12-17, 2-1 MAC) will host its home opener at the Diamond at Dix on Tuesday, April 2 when it welcomes Ohio (24-11, 5-1 MAC) for a doubleheader beginning at 1 p.m. and concluding at 3 p.m. The Golden Flashes were scheduled to host their home opener the past weekend against Ball State, but the series was cancelled due to weather. Both games against Ohio will air on Golden Flashes iHeart Radio.

Kent State won three of four games during its midweek trip to the Northeast Corridor for spring break. The Golden Flashes swept a doubleheader against Monmouth on Tuesday and split with Lehigh on Wednesday.
