EDINBORO, PA- The Golden Flashes ended 2021 in style, winning eight of 10 bouts in a convincing 30-6 victory over the Edinboro Scots.
Jake Ferri and Brendon Fenton ended a perfect road trip, each picking up victories, Fenton winning by major decision, to get the Golden Flashes off to a quick start. Kody Komara added to the lead, picking up a victory by fall to put the Flashes up 13-3.
Kent State put the dual out of reach, winning each of the next five matches. Najee Lockett and Michael Ferree each picked up major decisions to help pad the lead.
