KENT, OHIO- The Golden Flashes head to the Glass City this weekend for a four-game series with the Toledo Rockets, starting on Friday afternoon.
It is a pivotal weekend for both ball clubs as Kent State currently sits at 7-7 in MAC play and Toledo a half game back at 9-10 in conference.
Kent State is coming off a setback against Pitt on Tuesday night in front of a packed house at Schoonover Stadium. Justin Kirby, Mike McNamara and Mack Timbrook all had multi-hit games and Kyle Jackson cracked his fifth homer of the season.
