Kent State track and field returns to action after a week off from competition and will travel to the 17th annual Akron Invitational.
Competition at the two-day meet begins on Friday with the women's pole vault, women's weight throw, women's high jump, and men's heptathlon 60-meter dash all starting at 5:00 p.m. The last field event is scheduled to get underway at 8:00 p.m. Competition will conclude on the track with the men's 200-meter seeded run taking the track at 8:50 p.m.
Action on Saturday is scheduled to get underway at 12:00 p.m. with the women's triple jump and the women's pentathlon hurdles.
