Kent State will bring the first half of the Mid-American Conference schedule to a close on Wednesday night against Bowling Green in a contest scheduled for 7 p.m. inside of the M.A.C. Center.
The Golden Flashes (11-8, 4-4 MAC) were outscored by 20 at the charity stripe in a 69-60 setback at Toledo on Saturday. Kent State shot 14-of-30 from the floor to lead by three at halftime, but the offensive flow was disrupted in the second half by the Rockets' frequent trips to the foul line. Nila Blackford led the Flashes with 14 points and nine boards.
