Flashes Tied for Third After Opening Round in Orlando

ORLANDO, Fla.- The No. 3 Kent State women's golf team stands tied for third on day one of the UCF Challenge at the Eagle Creek Golf Club. The Flashes posted a 1-over 289 score in the first round.

Senior Pimnipa Panthong's 70 (-2) led the Flashes in the first round with the help of a trio of birdies on the back nine. Panthong is tied for fifth.

Junior Chloe Salort carded a 72 (E) after she fired three birdies on the day. Senior Karoline Stormo is tied for 29th after carding a 73 (+1) score.
