Flashes Tied for First in Second Day of Betsy Rawls Longhorn Invitational

AUSTIN, Texas- After the second round of the Betsy Rawls Invitational, the No. 16 Golden Flashes moved into a tie for first place on Saturday.

Kent State shot a second-round team-low 7-under par 281 that moved them up in the leaderboard to a tie for first with tournament host Texas. The Flashes and Longhorns sit at 1-under 575 after 36 holes.

Tied for fourth place are teammates Michaela Finn and Kory Nielsen who are both at even-par 144 score. Finn finished the day with an impressive bogey-free round of golf and shot a second round score of 3-under par 69.
