ATHENS, Ohio — Kent State remained unbeaten in Mid-American Conference play with a 60-44 road victory over Ohio, its first at the Convocation Center since 2017.
The Golden Flashes (10-3, 2-0 MAC) used stifling defense to hold the Bobcats to a 1-of-21 shooting performance from three-point range and their lowest scoring total of the season. Ohio shot just 29.1% overall from the floor.
Sophomore Bridget Dunn led Kent State with a game-high 14 points and grabbed nine rebounds to match her career-high. Seniors Clare Kelly and Katie Shumate added nine points each.
