BLOOMINGTON, Ind.- The Kent State University field hockey team (7-5, 2-0) beat Indiana by a 5-1 margin on Sunday afternoon for its third-straight victory. The Flashes' goals were scored by five different scorers as Kent State outshot Indiana 14-6 in the contest.
Kent State had a productive first period as the Flashes put up three goals. Junior Clara Rodriguez Seto found the back of the net for the seventh time this year within four minutes of the game. Nearly three minutes later, Laila Richter set up senior Berta Jover Llorens for her first goal of the season.
