FRANKLIN TENN... The Kent State women's golf team battled hard but did not secure one of the four tickets to this year's NCAA Championships, finishing the Franklin Regional in 10th.
The hosts in Vanderbilt ran away with the top spot on the final day, and will be joined in Arizona by #9 Alabama, #4 Wake Forest and #15 Texas A&M.
"Unfortunately we didn't play our best golf this week," Flashes head coach Casey VanDamme said. "But we want to thank and congratulate our seniors on great careers throughout their time here at Kent State."
The first of those seniors was reigning MAC Player of the Year Emily Price, who remained steady throughout the weekend, carding a 72 on Monday, a 71 on Tuesday and a 73 on Wednesday to wrap up the regional in a tie for 15th.
