PITTSBURGH-The Golden Flashes start a five-game road trip on Wednesday afternoon with a trip to the Steel City to take on the Pitt Panthers.
It is the Flashes first trip to Pittsburgh since the 2019 season after multiple attempts last year were rained out. Kent State rolls into town riding a 13-game winning streak, the longest for the team since the 2012 season. The Flashes wrapped up a perfect 8-0 home stand with an 11-2 win on Monday over MAAC pre-season favorite Canisius, capping a sweep of the three-game series.
