FAYETTEVILLE, Ark.- The No. 5 Kent State women's golf team has arrived Fayetteville, Ark. with one goal in mind, bring home the 2019 NCAA National Championship. Kent State begins its quest on Friday with the first of four rounds of stroke play at Blessings Golf Club.
This year marks the fifth year under the new format, which features four rounds of stroke play and three rounds of match play to determine the national champion. The 24-team field will face 18 holes of stroke play on both Friday (May 17), Saturday (May 18) and Sunday (May 19) before the field is trimmed to 15.
