Flashes Squeeze Out Double Overtime Victory Against Orange

SYRACUSE, N.Y. – Sophomore Isabelle Mihail scored two goals including the game winner in double overtime to earn the come from behind victory, as Kent State (4-3-1) downed Syracuse (3-5-0), 2-1, on Thursday night. It's the second year in a row the Golden Flashes have defeated a Power 5 foe on a game-winner from Mihail.

She scored the game-winning goal on a shot from the left side that hit the crossbar and bounced into the net. Sophomores Maddie Holmes and Vital Kats each recorded an assist. Miahil now leads the Flashes in goals (3) and is second in points (7).
