BRYAN, Texas-The Kent State men's golf team stands in second place when play was suspended in the second round on Saturday at the Aggie Invitational at Texas A&M's Traditions Club.
The Flashes posted an opening 6-over 304 to trail Alabama by 15 after the tournament's morning round. With the help of a successful second round play, Kent State moved into second place carding a 287 1-under par. Kent State stands at 15-over par at the par-72, 7,088-yard layout and is eight shots behind leader Alabama when play was halted due to darkness.
Senior Ian Holt (Stow, Ohio) carded rounds of 74 and 68 for second place in the individual race at 2-under 144.
