One day after Sean Lewis was named head coach, the Kent State football program hit the ground running Friday, signing linebacker Ishmael Robinson (Washington, D.C.) to a national letter of intent.
At 6-2, 215 pounds, Robinson becomes the Golden Flashes' third signee for the 2018 season and first on the defensive side of the ball.
"Ishmael is a dynamic player that will fit perfectly into our defensive structure," Lewis said. "He has the ability to play in space when asked to cover, along with the physical toughness and quick twitch to rush the passer.
