DUBLIN, Ohio- The Kent State University men's golf team looks to earn a split Tuesday in the weather-shortened Jack Nicklaus Collegiate Invitational at Muirfield Village Golf Club. One of eight teams competing in the match play tournament, the Flashes lost to Georgia Tech in the quarterfinals on Monday morning, 3-2-1. The freshmen shined today as Johnny Travale and Julien Paltrinieri recorded the lone victories. Sophomore halved his match with Ogletree.
Travale defeated Smith in a close match 2-up.
