ALBUQUERQUE, N.M.- The Kent State women's golf team is in second place after 36 holes on Monday at the Branch Law Firm/Dick McGuire Invitational.
The Flashes fired a 5-under 283 in the first round and followed that up with a 1-under 287 in the afternoon.
Kent State has three leaders in its lineup as Caley McGinty, Pimnipa Panthong, and Karoline Stormo are all tied for fifth at 3-under par 141 through 36 holes.
McGinty shot an even-par 72 in the first round and an impressive 3-under 69 in the second round.
