DEKALB, Ill. — Kent State made its first six shots from three-point range en route to an 82-61 win at Northern Illinois on Wednesday night, its largest margin of victory on the road against a Mid-American Conference opponent since March 1, 2017.
Graduate student Lindsey Thall torched the nets with five triples and scored a season-high 26 points on 9-of-13 shooting. Junior Casey Santoro and senior Clare Kelly finished with 13 points each and freshman Corynne Hauser scored 12 points. Santoro added a season-high eight rebounds, four assists and had both of the team's steals.
