Flashes Return to M.A.C. Center Wednesday to Host Duquesne

Kent State welcomes Duquesne on Wednesday night at 7 p.m. for the first of two women's basketball games this week at the M.A.C. Center.

The Golden Flashes (1-3) return to action after dropping both games late last week during a trip to North Carolina in which only nine student-athletes suited up. After falling to 13th-ranked NC State, 79-51, on Thursday, a late 7-0 run allowed host Elon to escape with a 66-63 victory Saturday night. Senior Jenna Batsch had a season-high 18 points to lead Kent State in the scoring column. Sophomore Riley Rismiller (15 points, 8 rebounds) and junior Tatiana Thomas (14 points, 7 rebounds) helped the Flashes post a 36-20 points in the paint advantage and win the rebounding battle, 44-32.
