KENT, Ohio – The Kent State women's soccer team will round out the first weekend of conference play on Sunday, Sept. 25, when it hits the road to face Akron at 1 p.m. This will be the first matchup in the 2022 Crystal Clinic Wagon Wheel Challenge.
The match will be streamed live on ESPN+.

The Golden Flashes (1-5-2) opened up Mid-American Conference play on Thursday, hosting Ohio in their first home match since Aug. 21. Freshman Kelsey Salopek scored twice, tallying her first career goal and first career brace, as the Flashes earned their first win of the 2022 campaign, 2-0.
