KENT, OHIO- The Golden Flashes (7-5, 6-2) are set for the program's first Mid-American Conference championship game since 2012, taking on the Northern Illinois Huskies (8-4, 6-2) at Ford Field on Saturday afternoon.

The Golden Flashes clinched the East Division with a thrilling 48-47 overtime win over Miami last Saturday inside Dix Stadium. The Flashes' defense had a goal line stand late in the fourth quarter to force overtime.
