KENT- The Flashes snapped Miami's nine-game win streak, getting a solid team effort across the board in a 10-2 victory on Saturday afternoon at Schoonover Stadium.
Every starter reached base as the Flashes rapped out 11 hits on Saturday and got five strong innings from Benny Roebuck and the rare four-inning save from Gavin Jones.
Kent State started quickly with three-straight singles in the first. Brody Williams drove in the first run of the game on a sac fly and Mike McNamara drove in a pair with a two-out single to left.
