KENT- Every Golden Flash that took an at-bat reached base on Tuesday and six pitchers combined for a four-hit shutout in a 27-0 blanking of Youngstown State on Tuesday.
It is the largest shutout win for the Flashes since 2014 when they defeated Akron, 19-0 and the most runs scored in a game since scoring 31 against Bowling Green in 2012.
The Flashes banged out 24 hits by 14 different players, 13 of the hits went for extra bases. Highlighting the day was Kolton Schaller's 4-4 day at the plate, finishing a triple away from the cycle.
