Myrtle Beach, SC... The Kent State men's golf team followed a strong start on Monday with an equally strong finish on Tuesday to close out this year's General Hackler Championship in a tie for fourth amidst the 14-team field.
"I'm thrilled with how our guys played," KSU head coach Jon Mills said. "We experienced some learning moments near the end of the tournament and those are tough holes but if we want to be a high-level team those are obstacles we need to overcome. With that said this was the kind of week we needed and this should help us in our confidence and in the rankings.
