KENT, Ohio – The Kent State gymnastics team came out firing today in the M.A.C. Center and scored a season-high 196.050, posting the highest score in the Mid-American Conference this season and beating George Washington for the second time in three weeks.
The last time the Flashes scored a 196.000 or better was against Bowling Green in 2018.
As a team, the Golden Flashes posted a season-high on three events including their best score on floor since the 2018 season. They posted a 49.350 floor, a 49.000 on bars and a 48.975 on vault.
Senior Jade Brown and junior Nasha Manitkul-Davis led the dazzling floor performance and tied their career-highs with a score of 9.
