NILES, OH- Every Kent State starter had a hit and the Flashes earned win number 20 of the season, taking down Youngstown State 13-8 at a windy Eastwood Field on Tuesday.
The Flashes struck early on Tuesday with Kyle Jackson powering a two-run homer to right center in the first and added two more in the second on a wild pitch and Josh Johnson being hit with the bases loaded. Kent State looked to blow the game open in the third, erupting for six runs and took a 10-0 lead. Kent State rapped out four hits in the inning including a two-run single from Johnson followed by a run-scoring triple for Tim Orr.
