KENT, OHIO- The Kent State Golden Flashes are set to open the mid-week home portion of their schedule on Tuesday night, welcoming in the Pitt Panthers for a 6 p.m. first pitch.
The Flashes are coming off of a split with Bowling Green last weekend, winning the final two games in walk-off fashion. Mike McNamara's sac fly brought home Kyle Jackson on Sunday, giving the Flashes a 4-3 win. The victory put the exclamation point on an excellent start by freshman lefty Eric Chalus who allowed just an earned run and struck out 11 in 6.
