KENT- The Golden Flashes scored two in the ninth to break a 4-4 tie and took the opener of the two-game set from the Murray State Racers 6-4 inside Reagan Field on Tuesday night.
Aidan Longwell led the charge on Tuesday, going 4-for-5 at the plate including the go-ahead rbi triple in the ninth and tossing the first four-and-a-third innings on the mound, allowing two runs and striking out six. Jake Casey homered for the fourth-straight game, Mack Timbrook hit his first of the year, and Brody Williams hit his first collegiate home run in his return to his home state.
