LAWRENCE, Kan. – The Kent State women's golf team began their fourth tournament of the Fall on Monday with the opening two rounds of the Marilynn Smith Sunflower Classic contested at Lawrence Country Club. The Flashes sit in second place among the field of 13 after posting a 4-over-par 292 in round one and a 1-under-par 287 in round two.
Heading into tomorrow's final round, Veronika Kedronova sits in a tie for first place with four other golfers at 5-under-par. She fired a 2-under-par 70 in round one before recording a 3-under-par 69 in round two, bringing her total rounds of par or better this season to six.
