KOHLER, Wis. – Kent State is right where it needs to be, following the opening round of the NCAA Regional Monday at the Meadow Valleys Course at Blackwolf Run. The Golden Flashes sit in fourth place at even par after one round
"We played steady today," Head Coach Herb Page said. "We stayed around par all day. You don't win on the first day, but you can lose it so it's just one day down and two to go."
The Flashes will need to maintain their consistent play Tuesday and Wednesday to hang on to a top five spot and advance to the NCAA Championships.
