KENT, OHIO- Kent State opens up a five-game home week to close out the regular season on Tuesday night, welcoming in Georgia Tech for a 6 p.m. first pitch at Schoonover Stadium.
It is a homecoming for Georgia Tech skipper Danny Hall, who managed the Golden Flashes for six seasons from 1988-1993. Hall went 208-117 for the Golden Flashes and led Kent State to the 1992 and 1993 NCAA tournament.
This season he has the Yellow Jackets at 28-21 entering this week with a pair of non-conference games against the Zips on Monday and the Golden Flashes on Tuesday before a trip to take on the Pitt Panthers in ACC play over the weekend.
