Flashes Hit the Road to Face Buffalo Saturday Afternoon

Kent State (12-10, 6-4) will look to try to move itself further ahead in the Mid-American Conference rankings when the team travels for a big matchup with Buffalo (15-6, 5-5) on Saturday afternoon. Tipoff is set for 2 p.m.

• Kent State is 24-12 all-time against Buffalo
• However, the Bulls have won the past nine meetings
• Buffalo won 77-66 in Kent and 63-47 at home last season

Larissa Lurken has already made herself a permanent fixture in the Kent State record book during her impressive senior season
• After breaking into the 1,000 career scoring club, she currently ranks 13th in career scoring with 1,396 points
• She shattered the three pointers made and attempted career records as she currently has 194 and 595, respectively
• The former records in those categories were 160 makes and 510 attempts
• Lurken currently ranks 8th in career free throws made and attemptes
• Teammate Jordan Korinek is very close to joining with 1,000 career points as she is just 12 shy of the mark
• Lurken also has some individual season records in view
• The best scoring average for a season in Kent State history is 21.
